After many years of personal success Sam and Laura launched Headturner Search in 2016 within Worcestershire.
The aim was to really focus our passion and expertise for this industry and ensure it was restoring the true nature of the exceptional value a recruitment partner can be to any business.










WHO
Sam Turner is the original founder of Headturner Search and has worked in recruitment since 2010 having been offered a great opportunity in the industry following being very successful in sales. From there she went from a global corporate agency to a more boutique style recruitment firm and achieved huge success both within local markets and senior executive search internationally.
Like many other recruitment professionals, she had never intended to take the industry by storm but 13 years later…… here we are!
During her career in recruitment, she had the pleasure of working alongside Laura Osborne. Laura had worked within sales in London and then found a passion and talent for marketing. Like Sam, she found herself, quite out of the blue, presented with a recruitment opportunity in 2011 and from then she has built up an ever-growing network of talent and clients who work with Laura on an exclusive basis time and time again.
Sam & Laura quickly discovered that together they were an unbreakable duo and a force to be reckoned with within the industry and that with their combined skill sets they could really achieve anything.

We work with and have built a fantastic client base in the Worcestershire area alongside national recruitment projects both Permanent and Temporary. In recruitment, and especially if you are good at it – there is always the nature to be competitive. Who else better to compete against than yourself?
Recruitment has been an industry that over the years has been discredited and disliked by more than a few due to some bad practices that have often taken place by some. It was because of this that we wanted to really use our passion for being specialists in what we do to do recruitment the right way and prove to our clients and candidates that it didn’t need to be a ‘fastest finger first’ process – which quite frankly is unenjoyable for all involved!
Aside from being professional, consistent, honest and ethical in our approach (which challenges the industry to its core!) we offer so much more to our clients. Our knowledge, skillset and network is vast. We have the passion and drive to engage in our client’s employee retention. And finally and probably one of the most unusual aspects of us…..we do NOT cold call.
We network with clients, have a strong referral base and the majority of our recruitment projects are on an exclusive basis. This is why also the majority of our placements come from our own network.
